Stupid F*ck The Silly Clown is a Naarm based punk rock clown act with a full band of clowns, performing live music, clowning, skits and comedy and much more. See it for cheap while you still can.
Tassie's own Ramblin Van Walker is a prolific and celebrated songwriter in the genres of folk, blues, country and hardcore rocknroll, a 'cult figure' in his adopted home of Victoria, with a vast catalogue of poetic lyric-driven material that explore a range of personal and social themes.
Halfway have been a band for quarter of a century, and across that time they've made nine studio albums, each of which has received a wealth of critical acclaim. From their origins in 2000, Halfway have developed their style and songs into cinematic soundscapes, lush with pedal steel, densely layered guitars, and driving rhythms.
Mack & Cook is the genre-bending collaboration between singer-songwriter Lizzie Mack and guitar-slinger Murray Cook. Together, they blend soul, country, swamp blues and roots into a uniquely heartfelt sound.
Drawing inspiration from the gatefold-era of 70s prog and psych rock hedonistic excess
Calling all beat animals! 'Hi-Pedigree' runs as a monthly 'open mic' for local producers eager to gather and share their skills.
Join the "Talking Pit" for an evening of energetic and spontaneous grooves and tunes.
Come and relish in a stripped back night of lush harmonies and raucous fun.
Alice Springs songwriter, Paul Ah Chee, continues his “Light The Fire” Tour, stopping for a one-off Melbourne show on Friday 19th September at the The Retreat, Brunswick, with special guests to be announced.
Hailing from Northern Melbourne, The Backyard Banjo Club are a tangled mess of banjo, violin, accordion, saxophone and bass. Sometimes upbeat, sometimes sultry, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and we always have fun. Think Wes Anderson meets Quentin Tarantino for a festival set. From sell-out Melbourne shows to folk clubs and festivals around the country including Woodford Folk Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival and Tablelands Folk Festival, we bring tongue-in-cheek stage banter and a healthy dose of instrumental finesse to the stage.
