A bag full of fuzz pedals, assorted Gibsons and Fenders, a devotion to 60’s/70’s song craft and an abiding love of long, snaking guitar jams. It’s the game plan Melbourne’s Woodland Hunters brought to their debut album Let’s Fall Apart, and now they’re ready to bring their ragged glory to The Retreat main stage for the official album launch on November 10. Singer/guitarist Andrew Tanner, drummer Leroy Cope (both also serving members of The Sand Pebbles), guitarist Ross Richard and bassist Cam Prestipino are pumped, primed and good to go. They’ll be aided and abetted onstage with friends Shane O’Mara, Simon Lewis and Rebecca Barnard. Special guests on the night will be Ponyface Duo.
