Fairtrade Narcotics w/ Oliver Northam & the Elsewheres + Eliza Joan

Fairtrade Narcotics return to local saloon Retreat Hotel for a Thursday evening of debaucherous dancing and tasty, turbulent tunes. Supports from folk-rock wizard Oliver Northam with The Elsewheres, and sorceress/singer-songwriter, Eliza Joan.

♥♥♥♥ FREE ENTRY as always ♥♥♥♥

Eliza Joan is an alternative folk-rock artist from Melbourne, influenced by artists such as The Kills, PJ Harvey & Mazzy Star.

Her melodic, intrinsic songwriting walks the line between the obscurely dark and whimsical.

Listen to her breath taking demos here:

Folk-rock, pop and blues inspired musician, Oliver Northam is a Melbourne-based artist who grew up in the country town of Harcourt. Composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Ollie is currently working towards the release of his debut EP.

Fairtrade Narcotics is a collaborative, revolving door ensemble project where like minded musicians compile their original works (and tasty covers) into a set that deviates conventional genre norms. Led by Brooke Kymberley, (trumpet) the band's live repertoire ranges from funkadelic, jazzy standards to groove infused hip-hop & brassy, contagious pop.

FN draw influence from artists such as the Cat Empire, Roy Hardgrove, Woo Park & Tom Misch.
