The Prairie Oysters have always stumped the country music scene. As they skirt the edges of commercial and alt-country circles, it’s hard to pin a label on them and they wouldn’t want it any other way.  Since 2005, this four-piece Melbourne outfit has performed around Australia from remote communities to major festivals. 

Their loyal fan base is as diverse as their music. Their shows are best described as a musical explosion of country rock and honky-tonk showcasing the band’s four part vocal harmonies, accomplished musicianship, and songwriting abilities that pay tribute to some of the past century’s most influential country artists. With three studio albums, awards, and thousands of touring miles, The Prairie Oysters are the real deal making friends around Australia and beyond.
