"Hugh F is a sensitive man. He is a man in demand because of his sensitive plans. He wants to spread intimacy in a world of opposition, he wants people to feel comfortable to be close to one another in a climate of fear."- John Tennyson
“Childhood Reunion” is the second album by bedroom intermediate, Hugh F.
Hugh sings about his relationship with close friends, including the animals from his pre-city life.
“My New Fam”, is about his nephews and nieces, and how escapes town to see them.
“The Dog Is Back In Town”, explores the shared relationship with a country-dog and a country-boy, who both find the city life overwhelming at times.
Lyrics, such as — ‘remind myself on how to use my words…clearing my head is like sweeping up a cinema’ — express the difficulties of communication in, “I Got Spat Out Again”.
During the making of the record, Hugh constantly annoyed his housemates, by either never being around, or making too much noise. The process of trial and error in writing, recording and performing, keeps Hugh F happily occupied in a triad of personal growth.
