Hailing from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne Prickly Pear are a trio of friends that share a love of creating and improvising. Along with exploring modern modal harmony, the band also takes inspiration from Randy Newman’s Americana and John Scofield’s fusion grooves. Much like their name suggests, their music aims to capture the audience with a unique sound and sweet melodies, but can also pack a prickly punch.

Niine the idiosyncratic ball of quirky goodness has been hitting the live music scene hard. Niine's vibrant song writing and organic grooves have been making an impression since the end of 2016. As the world’s first avant-guard avalanche pop artist, she brings a completely new sound to the music scene through her recordings and live shows. Her abstract view of the pop world and discrete punk attitude is delivering exactly what the pop music scene craves.

B.Phillip blends folk, jazz and hip-hop to bring to life musical ideas that explore politics, the natural environment and sometimes fantasy worlds. Love of vocal harmony and shifting time signatures permeate the projects sound, giving colour to the lyrics and melody. The music is played with guitar, drums, bass guitar, keys and alternating sets of vocal folds. With the music changing shape, regularly throughout the set, B.Phillip aims to keep the soundscape fluid and surprising.
