Nick Carver & the Mean St Butchers bring their swampy mix of alt-country and desert rock to The Retreat stage on Sunday December 5th, with special guests The Garden Age + Brooke Taylor.

Nick Carver injects as much truth and soul into his singing, songwriting, and guitar playing as possible, and when backed by his band of butchers (Alex Burkoy, Jake Amy, Chris Doig), there’s an authentic energy that’s impossible to deny. It’s no surprise that Nkechi Anele from Triple J described their music as “delectably twisted” and “sonically dazzling.”
