Summer has come to an end, but the Skinks are still fruitlessly clinging to the last bit of warmth within the concrete of the backyard. Joined by wonderful friends The Great Divides and Maisie Pearle, Skink Tank is back at The Retreat for a lovely night of folk, jangle and rock!

Performing on Thursday April 29th from 6:30pm. Tickets are $10 + booking fee and limited to just 50 spots.

Here's a bit about the acts:

The Great Divides are a four piece who play idiosyncratic post-punk and pop songs. Hailing from Castlemaine, this group explore the experience of youth in regional Victoria and the effect the vast expanse of land has on the person. Lyrically tackling the challenges of adolescence in regional Victoria and both the community and isolation this builds. Influenced by the likes of The Sea Urchins and The Clean all The Great Divides really want to do is play jangle pop!

Maisie Pearle is the resulting love child of an alternative reality Dolly Parton and Joan Baez who depression bonded over the state of the world and eloped together. She also shares the name with a handsome Pomeranian on Instagram. Blessings!
