Since their inception, The Vovos have made a massive name for themselves with their signature punk bitch attitude & unique lyricism. This year the band has achieved more than ever before, including an appearance at Boogie Festival and a support slot for Skegss at The Sidney Myer Music Bowl as part of Melbourne Music Week. 2021 has also brought about three new singles including ‘Temporary Solution’, which has been labelled a ‘righteous call to action’ and a noticeable musical evolution since the bands 2019 debut EP, recorded with Anna Laverty.

When The Vovos announced they were teaming up with indie label Roolette Records (Lazertits, Girl Germs), the hype has been building for something big… and it’s finally here. If you’re a fan of eating noodles, going to IGA, getting lost in IKEA or attending wedding ceremonies with carnivorous plants, join us July 10th for the launch of ‘Jana’, the debut album & cassette tape from The Vovos :)
