Cowbell, shakers, güiro and congas star alongside Wild West guitars, smokey vocals and dry humour in Melbourne’s Louis Valentine & The Golden Age. The seven piece band play dirty soul-pop tunes sung by a bloke who fancies himself as a "young Joe Cocker without sideburns", and are set to make their return to The Retreat Hotel this August with a polished live show and an all class lineup of support acts.

Jessie Jane, the songstress from Australia’s top end (not the American porn star) will kick the night into gear with an even dose of uppers and sad girl songs, followed by the superb working class sounds of Eastbound Buzz. It’s a night we all deserve so grab yourself a ticket.
