MAIN ROOM / $10 + booking fee

To celebrate the release of his second album, psych-pop luminary Nathan Abbey will be hitting The Retreat on Thursday April 8th with his new band to welcome listeners into the world he’s crafted on ‘Big Farmer’,

‘Big Farmer’ is the sophomore release from Melbourne singer-songwriter Nathan Abbey, written and conceived while living in Montreal, Quebec and completed upon a lockdown return. Recorded at the Fish Bones Tone Shack with Fabian Hunter on drums and Alexander Bleakley on bass, the album captures a live energy in contrast to the patchwork of samples and laptop performances on Nathan’s debut album ‘Cross Eyed’. Nathan’s previous projects include Melbourne bands My Elephant Ride and Mihra, who both independently released two albums.

With support from Chef Person and Jimi Something, kicking things off from 6:30pm. Tickets are $10 + booking fee and limited to just 50 spots.
