Over two years in the making, genre-bending, emerging Melbourne four-piece Champ Ruby have arrived with their debut Afterthoughts EP, and are hitting the Retreat Hotel (Naarm, Melbourne) stage for their first ever headline performance.

Developing their fan base across stages all over Victoria with much-loved Australian gems including Slowly Slowly, Didirri, The Grogans and more, Champ Ruby have become a highlight at all shows they play. These shows have helped garner them over 100,000 streams between their two previously-released tracks, and scored them spins across triple j and Unearthed, features in Rolling Stone AU/NZ and across national Spotify editorial playlists.

This will likely be Champ Ruby’s only headline show for 2022, and to celebrate they’ll bring with them special guests — Speed Mullet and Paraquay, for a stacked show not to be missed.
