Society of Beggars have announced their first show back at the legendary Retreat Hotel in Brunswick. The alt-rock band from Naarm/Melbourne, formed by brothers Yianni and Dimitrios Michalopoulos (vocals and guitar) and Tom ‘Dibi’ Di Biase (drums) with Zoë Alexa (Bass) will be playing songs from their acclaimed debut, ‘An EP Called Night’ along with breakthrough singles ‘God Mode’, ‘Dance The Evil’, and other cuts from their forthcoming debut full length album — ‘Levitator’.

Joining them on the night will be very special support from indie rockers Trouble Peach, off the back of their brand new album release ‘Hesitate Til It’s Too Late’ and dark, melodic goth-rockers With Witch.

The Retreat Hotel would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which The Retreat now stands, and pay our respects to all elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and that our venue operates on stolen land.
