Join us for Diaphanous Dreams - a night of music for complex hearts showcasing a line-up of female-led acts exploring the intricacies of life. Emily Victoria, Midnight and Heavy Amber take to the stage at The Retreat Hotel on Wednesday 2 March.
EMILY VICTORIA writes music which sounds full and rich, evoking an Australian sound that transports the listener to a lovely place elsewhere. Her music draws from her love of jangle rock and the beauty of the Australian landscape with an introspective lyrical thread throughout. Emily is due to release her first album later this year. This set will also feature Anthony Farrugia (guitar), Sam Clarke (electric bass) and Jacob Long (drums).

Singer-songwriter Eileen Francisco is MIDNIGHT - a musical alter ego formed after a year of lockdowns, heartache, and grief. As part of a duo, Midnight is accompanied by drummer/percussionist Heather Wright who has 25+ years music experience. As a way to process complex emotions, Eileen spent many nights in front of the piano and Midnight was born in 2021. Midnight has a collection of melancholy songs that span between contemporary genres including indie, alternative and piano-ballads and covers heartfelt themes of grief, isolation, and solitude.
