KIT (aka Katie Wighton) is the guitarist/vocals in ARIA-award winning folk outfit All Our Exes Live in Texas. In 2017 All Our Exes Live in Texas won the ARIA award for Best Blues & Roots Album for their critically acclaimed debut, “When We Fall”. In the same year they went home with “Folk Act of the Year” at both the National Live Music Awards and AU Review Awards. Songs from the album were also nominated for the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition and APRA Song of the Year.

In 2019 Katie began working with Dave Symes (Boy and Bear), James Seymour (Feelds, Merpire) and Liz Drummond (Little May) as co-producers to record an album under her new solo alias, KIT.

She'll be performing her first Melbourne show in two years at The Retreat Hotel, on Sunday May 1st from 2:30pm, with support from Stella Who.
