A shelf full of albums by James Taylor, Paul Simon, Jason Isbell and Dawes has infused Grand Baxter's music with considered songwriting, bitter-sweet lyrics and a sprinkling of country-folk aesthetic. Songs dance between the dark, the delicate, and the cautiously optimistic, with beautiful acoustic guitars, crunchy electrics, dancing string melodies and swelling rhythmic drive. Joined by band members of the highest order (Dylan Knur, Jack Wieseler, Isaac Gunnoo, Maddison Carter), Grand Baxter delivers his heart on a silver plate, best described as 'a bold hamper of honesty, musicality and folk charm.'

Jess DeLuca writes songs about difficulties in our lives , getting lost in the woods , loving your mother and hating life sometimes. Gently whispering into your ear that it’s okay to be lost, with stark but precise arrangements matched to her meticulous and skilful, soft and poignant song-writing ability.
