Hailing from Chile with residence in Melbourne, Australia, Vanessa Estrada is a driving force in Melbourne's Latin music scene.

Her music is compelling and moves the heart, soul and body. Mixing styles from Latin folk/rock/alternative and electronic sounds, and drawing inspiration from artists such as Violeta Parra, Pascuala Ilabaca, Elizabeth Morris, Bomba Estéreo (to name a few), Vanessa's sound is an eclectic mix of melodies and instruments.

Multifaceted in the focus of its art, singing to the waters, the moon, the sun and all the elements, Vanessa transports you through her soundscape with strength and elegance.

Vanessa has recently returned from touring in Chile, where she released her latest single Agua Libre, performing along some iconic local musicians such as world's renowned Charango player Freddy Torrealba.

The feedback from her latest single and her shows in Chile was overwhelmingly positive, the energy created around Vanessa's music within her audience in Chile was amazing. Vanessa is seeking to bring the same energy and momentum to Melbourne, where she will be releasing her debut album later this year.

Come and enjoy an intimate show, where Vanessa will be giving us a premiere of her debut album, performing in acoustic set using traditional instrumentation from Latin America and delighting us with her powerful voice.
