Attention tillers of the earth! Harvesters of the grain! Cultivators of the crops! Big Farmer invites all, agriculturally adept or not, to join them for the release of their first ever EP ‘From the Horse’s Mouth’. From the Horse’s Mouth represents Big Farmer’s love letter to all that is good in our lives – coffee, freedom, cheesecake, astrology, and suburbs. To the untrained eye, this may look like a slapdash collection of ill-formed ideas. Yet to the experienced onlooker, this is truth materialised in musical form. Come along and have a dance as these wayward bards chronicle the stories of unknown heroes and mystic foes.

Gracing the stage with BF are Birdpop and Polly and the Pockets. The nascent Birdpop defy their fresh beginnings as they belt out some of the catchiest songs in the southern hemisphere, watching on and smiling as the whole pub cheers each chorus back. Polly and the Pockets return to The Retreat’s stage to deliver their ultra-groovy brand of psych-infused rock. Be sure to expect phat beats, big breakdowns, and hooks that will make you swoon.
