Sunday Scaries is a monthly comedy night at The Retreat Hotel in Brunswick featuring some of Melbourne’s brightest talent. Run by comedian Sez this is the perfect event to finish your week and cure the Sunday Scaries. All ticket sales go to a different charity each month chosen by our acts.

The doors open at 6:30pm and show starts at 7pm in the band room. Seating is provided.

Olive Kids is an Australian Foundation dedicated to support the children of Palestine. Our vision is a future where Palestinian kids can live free, full, and safe childhoods.

Olive Kids was founded in 2007 by Palestinian Australians who want to make a difference to the lives of children in Palestine. We are run solely by a passionate board of volunteers from a range of professions and backgrounds, from lawyers to public servants to campaigners.

They work in a range of different areas, providing financial aid, healthcare, education, and other support to children living in Palestine. All our work is conducted in collaboration with our partner organisations on the ground – it is based on the needs that these organisations identify, and our work is designed and delivered in a way that ensures we build local capacity, support local businesses, and enable self-determination.

The Retreat Hotel would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which The Retreat now stands, and pay our respects to all elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and that our venue operates on stolen land.
