Kim Salmon recently went on a ‘get to know you’ tour of NZ.

The easiest way to curate the show to the uninitiated was to chronologically announce the date, composers, band, name of the song and then let the songs tell the tale with the odd bit of raconteuring thrown in along the way .

As a person who has always lived true to their name and ‘swum against the flow’ over vast distances the tale you’d be bound to get from Kim Salmon was never going to be a short one. 120 minutes of storytelling in song is a saga! Coming from KS it’s a somewhat fantastical saga! Think Ewan McGregor and Albert Finney in Big Fish.
