Music 4 Liberation is exactly what the title exudes. We have three amazing acts offering a range of sounds, from neo soul jazz with Dakini Cuddle to soulful blues with Oscar LaDell and then reggae-rock Afrobeat with Roots & Culture.

Roots & Culture - Birthed from their very own roots & culture, the band performs all original roots rock reggae afrobeat traditional Senegalese music from Australia to Senegambia. Originating from housemates in Brunswick to brothers one & the same united on stage.

Oscar LaDell and his band blend the influences of Blues and Soul music with an eclectic ear for sonic texture and melody to tell deeply moving stories set against the backdrop of irresistible grooves.'

Dakini Cuddle is a soul jazz funk four piece with alluring components and psychedelic tendencies. The band is fresh to Naarm's music scene and involves Tyla Moonchild on vocals and guitar, Rory Wilson on bass, Gabe Coleman on keys and Oliver George on drums.
