ALICE SKYE (Wergaia, Wemba Wemba) is known predominantly as a singer-songwriter from the Wimmera and currently residing in Narrm. She has released two band albums, Friends with Feelings and I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good. Both explore feelings, healing and escapism. Inspired by all genres but particularly emo and small town bands of the late 90s/early 00s, Alice learnt very young that when your surroundings are out of your control, there is comfort to be found in words, stories and songs. It is her hope to continue to foster that world or healing in whatever outlet that may be, from books to the piano to stages.

Blak Stage is this countries premier and longest running open mic night for mob, running every Tuesday at The Retreat Hotel. Doors 6.30pm.
