grounded in a particular brand of Australian

isolationism, evoking long summer days and

smalltown tales of misfortune.

A Man Called Son is the ongoing project of Simon Pearlman. Influenced by studio-bound artists such as Brian Wilson and Harry Nilsson, multi-instrumentalist and producer Simon has released four albums, numerous singles and EPs under the A Man Called Son name, made successful treks across regional Australia, with highly received solo performances in various towns in New South Wales, Victoria and beyond. He has also made appearances on ABC Radio and ABC TV, Channel 31 and other media outlets.

Presently, Simon is working on an intriguing new concept album titled ‘AutoTraumatic.' The first fruits from this album, the spooky and spine-tingling single 'Meds', is the latest offering in the ever-evolving sonic journey of A Man Called Son.
