Hannah Crofts, under her new moniker Baby Velvet, is taking centre stage for the very first time

with her debut solo band project. As one quarter of the indie folk group, All Our Exes Live in

Texas, Crofts has toured the world in vintage gowns and rhinestone boots and in 2022 embarked

on releasing her debut solo record ‘Please Don’t Be In Love With Someone Else’ via ABC,

produced by Kevin Ratterman (My Morning Jacket). The Album was nominated for the 2023 AIR

Award for ‘Best Blues and Roots Album’, Hannah was nominated for the 2023 APRAAMCOS

Professional Development Awards along with being the recipient of the Hello Daydreamer Artist in

Residence scholarship.
