Brittle Sun are pleased to be back at the Retreat Hotel with Taylor Project for a winter celebration of alt country nerd folk music, a genre that Taylor Project may or may not have invented.

Taylor Project, featuring core members and twin sisters Liz Taylor and Sarah Taylor, are based in Melbourne. They are often spotted in Elmore, a tiny haunted town in country Victoria. Their songs range from Nashville-esque ballads, comical acoustic numbers, and experimental mash ups.

Brittle Sun are excited to be launching a new rendition of the Irish folk song 'She Moved Through the Fair'. Their live shows are dynamic, soulful and emotive. They are strongly inspired by Syd Barrett, Appalachian folk music and microscopic animals.

The Retreat Hotel would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which The Retreat now stands, and pay our respects to all elders past, present and emerging.
