Elly McK & The Unbelievers are bringing their Americana & Roots style to The Retreat Brunswick supported by Theresa Duffy-Richards. Elly McK and The Unbelievers, a Melbourne-based band, are making waves in the Americana scene. This four-piece group has garnered a growing fanbase following the release of their first two singles, “Down On Your Luck” and “Bones,” along with standout performances across the state.

Elly McKinnon’s original songs effortlessly traverse the genres of alt-country, Americana, and roots, while The Unbelievers deliver vintage-inspired sounds and rollicking grooves. Teresa Duffy-Richards is a seasoned singer/songwriter. Her music is steeped in the vast traditions of Roots, Folk, Country and Blues, and the more modern realms of Rock'n'roll, Punk and Noise Rock. With a voice described as achingly beautiful, she draws comparisons to Sandy Denny, Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton while remaining uniquely her own.
