Spend your Sunday afternoon immersed in some of Melbourne’s finest original rock music at the Retreat Hotel, Brunswick, on Sunday 26 July from 2pm. This free show brings together two exciting local acts, Humane and Ingrid and The Ministers.

Ingrid and The Ministers deliver a raw, energetic blend of blues rock, drawing comparisons to Joan Jett and The White Stripes. The catchy and energetic trio is making the genre feel fresh and relevant again. Bridging a love of classic 70s rock with a modern lyrical sensitivity that doesn't shy away from current issues, the band delivers a riveting live experience packed with electrifying guitar solos and infectious stomping grooves.

Joining them are Melbourne alternative rock outfit Humane, whose powerful live performances fuse atmospheric soundscapes, punchy riffs and soaring vocals. Taking inspiration from Pink Floyd, Soundgarden and Powderfinger, Humane create immersive and emotionally charged sets that resonate with both classic and modern rock fans alike.
