Featuring some of Melbourne’s best young jazz musicians, JAM Big Band explores all genres of big band, with an emphasis on contemporary jazz, fusion and funk.

With moody charts from renowned composers, as well as original compositions influenced by the modern avant-garde direction of its respective players, JAM offers a unique twist on big band music not to be missed.

Following recent shows at Uptown Jazz Café and The Retreat Hotel, as an emerging voice in Melbourne’s underground jazz scene, JAM champions connection beyond bounds -aspiring to convey a transcendental correspondence between musicians, audience members and music felt as an absorbing feeling which only being there can convey.
