The latest single from Kelsey Jean & The Bad Health is finally here! Combining pysch-rock tendencies with sci-fi inspired lyricism "Pretty Pictures" is a cinematic and whimsical journey through a bad dream - the production growing more chaotic as the lyrics wind on, ending in a tumultuous and lush explosion of instruments and operatic wailing. On the B-side, "Clouds" takes a more mellow approach with Beatles-esque guitar lines and harmonies while still satisfying the indie/psych core of the band. Recorded, mixed and released independently, we are super proud of what we've made together and stoked to be launching our first physical release at our beloved Retreat Hotel! Kelsey Jean & The Bad Health have been playing together since 2022 and have continued to refine their sound into something totally unique - with songwriter Kelsey Jean at the fore with her whimsical and poetic songwriting, the Bad Health add their signature bold guitar lines, lush harmonies and driving energy.
