Hey! Here's your chance to see us play a bunch of old and new songs before the Christmas/new year epidemic takes over the planet and completely depletes us of our pocket money and tolerance of our immediate family.
pink wool press will release their second single ‘Pseudo Hollywood Thrills’ at Retreat Hotel on Friday, December 6th with support from folk rocking family men Denim Gorgeous, who are feeling electric from the release of their latest single's 'Broken Machine' and 'Heaven's Grace'.
What’s more? This is more. We have Elenore up first, a vibrant new pop disturbance to hit Melbourne, bringing together tones of smooth, sultry and striking vocals creating her distinctive sound.
With jangly electric guitars and experimental alt-rock trickery, ‘Pseudo Hollywood Thrills’ captures the playful, gritty quality of pink wool press, expanding on the folky edge to their debut single ‘I Really Hate To Bring It Up Again’.
p.w.p are a swooning alt-rock conglomerate with ties to all corners of rural Victoria. Folk sensibilities with riff-heavy jangly guitars? Think you've heard it before? Think again. Find a russet clarinet, glockenspiel, saxophone, some scratchy megaphone and a few rural nostalgic sentiments and you might get somewhere close to pink wool press.
