Jenny McKechnie is a songwriter that's been moonlighting in punk bands around Melbourne for the last half decade. Stripped of the fuzz pedals and cyclonic energy of her band Cable Ties her songs stand just as fierce and powerful in solo mode. Honest, tough and vulnerable songs about trying to make it through the world in one piece. Stunningly delivered in a huge, resonant voice by a weapon guitarist - as simple and complicated as rock 'n' roll need be.
