Ngunnawal/Canberra favourites HYG are coming back to Naarm/Melbourne, playing for the first time at the Retreat to support their first release of 2023. ‘Tunnel Vision’ is full of the meditative, off-kilter grooves and full-bodied textures that have come to define the band’s sound, with a driving beat underlying the song’s subversive new direction. With a captivating live show honed over the past year with a slew of interstate performances and supports for the likes of Party Dozen, the Lazy Eyes and Big Yawn, HYG continue to show why they’re regarded as one of the most exciting bands Canberra has to offer.

On support are psych-punk rockers Skerzo and heavy-hitting two-piece Echo Social Club.
